We are seeking a recent or upcoming grad with a degree in Apparel or Industrial Design, and a passion for outdoor sports, to join our Research and Development team as a Design Assistant. As a Design Assistant, you will support the development of comprehensive design and product solutions that are in line with Arc’teryx design philosophies and customer needs.

We are seeking a hardworking, detail oriented person with at least 2 years experience in apparel construction to join our development team. Working with our in house designers, patternmakers and production teams you will produce industry leading, innovative and high-end technical clothing.

BCID Members are encouraged to submit their work to the 2010 Design Exchange Awards. The Design Exchange Awards promote Canadian design excellence and recognizes the critical role of design in all types of organizations including commercial entities (large and small businesses), not-for-profit organizations, and the public sector.

BCID’s Annual General Meeting will be held on June 22, 2010 at the Shebeen Whisk(e)Y House in Gastown.
