Location:     Head Office, Buying and Design Department

What you’ll be doing:
Developing and maintaining WebPDM specification packages through the entire product life cycle according to the needs of the development path
Managing spec and component data with Web PDM
Managing the pre-production sample approval and storage process, in conjunction with the Designer
Negotiating costs with factories
Problem solving in-line production quality issues
Managing interim development projects
Label management and approval
Creating and maintaining Color Line Plan

What you need to do it well:
Post-secondary degree in related discipline i.e. Industrial Design
Minimum 3 years related experience
Product sketch development experience using Adobe Illustrator or similar program
Knowledge of technical construction of outdoor equipment, ideally backpacks, tents and sleeping bags
Familiarity with the development and manufacture of a wide range of recreation and outdoor/ sport related equipment
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills
Familiarity using software such as Microsoft Office and Windows NT
Passion for wild spaces, outdoor activities, and great gear
