The Ministry of Small Business and Revenue has invited the BCID to participate in a government initiative to clarify provincial tax information documentation specifically affecting the Design Consultant industries. If your business has had issues or concerns related to PST, this is your opportunity to be heard. The deadline for response is December 22, 2006. For further information on how to participate and to download the appropriate forms, please read below.
Opportunity:
The new publications are created as part of the Tax Information Project (TIP) where an important goal is to consult with industry members and get feedback on our tax information materials before they are published. Industry input will help us ensure our tax information meets the needs of its users, and that the information is clear and easy to understand. For the second consultation I have attached the final draft of the completely revised bulletin - Design Consultants - for your review.
Please have all responses returned no later Friday December 22nd. Replies can be sent back to me by email at Bonnie.Wilson@gov.bc.ca or by fax to 250 356-2340. We welcome all suggestions you may have. However, if your suggestion requires new policy, or a change in current policy or legislation, we will put you in contact with the appropriate area of the ministry that can assist you.Thank you.
